Locations

Oakfield Village

Kalm Valley, Kalm

Oakfield is the name of the small village, located in the basin of Kalm Valley. The valley being mostly known for it's rolling hills and lush green land. Kalm itself is located in the north of the United States. The village is quite independent and rarely relies on imports from outside the village and a large majority of the stores found in the village are locally owned businesses.

Heartland Ranch

Farmland - Oakfield Village, Kalm

A farm which is located a couple of miles outside Oakfield. The farm is owned by Bethany Valentine and her partner. Their employees include Dawes and Clyde, who both stay in their own home located on the farm's land. Their farm is the town's main source of milk, meat, and grain.
Their farm is on the slope of the valley of Kalm, so you can see the dots of their livestock on the distant hills from Oakfield Village.

Sunshine Apiary

Bee and Flower Farm - Oakfield Village, Kalm

A bee farm located at the entrance of Oakfield. Run by Beatrix Rosenfeld and her grandparents - a couple of German immigrants. They provide the town of Oakfield with honey, handcrafts made from bee's wax, and flowers for the local flower shop. Their land is the first thing you see as you enter Oakfield, with its beautiful range of flowers as far as the eye can see creating a blanket of colour on both sides of the road.

Sit and Stay Café

Local Cafe - Oakfield Village, Kalm

A small café located at the corner of main street. It is open plan with large windows covering around the corner of the building. It has plenty of seating and offers in-house baked goods as well as hot drinks like coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. You can find people studying and meeting up here. They also have outside seating during Summer. Peter is one of their main employees.

Meadow Hill Grocers

Local Shop - Oakfield Village, Kalm

The main grocery store in the village. It stocks fresh produce from local farms as well as imports acquired from overseas (via the port in Whitedove). It's nothing too big, just big enough to have several aisles with necessities.
It's located near the center of the village where it has easy access to the roads for deliveries.
It is run by NAME, and one of their employees is Bear, who helps stock the shelves and sometimes mans the till when needed.

Flowers From Malibu

Florist - Oakfield Village, Kalm

A small flower store inside Oakfield. It is run by a jackal called Malibu, who moved over to Kalm from Los Angeles to help expand his parent's business. His employees include Aleksandra Reznikova, Sidney, and Millie. Malibu's store is small and the smell of flowers is almost overwhelming for some. But every flower arrangement and recommendation comes from a place of love.

The Weeping Crystal

Psychic's Shop - Oakfield Village, Kalm

A fortune shop located in the basement of Flowers From Malibu. Owned and run by Akemi - it has it's own entrance from outside.

Starview Library

Library - Oakfield Village, Kalm

A converted library that was originally a church, located in the middle of Oakfield. A beautiful building owned by Eiko. The ground floor is the library where you can come in and read, borrow books, and enjoy the peace and quiet. The upper level is an attic, which is where Eiko lives.

Midnight Inn

Strip Club - Oakfield Village, Kalm

An underground bar and strip club located in one of the back alleys of Oakfield. An LGBTQ+ friendly place with a range of dancers. Micha is the manager of the Midnight Inn. Peter is a part-time employee over the weekends and some nights. Hunter is one of the regular visitors to this place.
